IT’S hard to believe that we are actually now halfway through the month of March. It means this season’s FNL has only about eight weeks to go.
All league campaigns included in this season’s competition finish in the final week of April with the only games taking place in May being the play-off matches.
On the subject of play-offs, it’s been brought to my attention that teams who played in last season’s play-offs ended up with nearly as many points as the league winners once the End of Season bonus points were awarded.
So, this season, I’ve decided the play-offs will be treated as normal league games so there will be no play-off bonus points at stake.
Leading the way in the overall table is Up The Bucks! with 13,798 points. They have opened up a 107pt lead over second placed Blue Aroma with HotShots United 122pts behind our leader in third.
At the bottom, where £100 is up for grabs, are still Barney’s Clowns. They are 288pts adrift from their nearest rivals Yeovil Town FC.
The top three teams leading the March Manager of the Month are: 1. Whites And Stripes 1,366pts (450th); 2. Old River 2013 1,362pts (502nd); 3. Bobbington FC 1,357pts (50th).
