Experienced Adrian Cieslewicz Will ‘Grow Up’ At Next Club

POLISH flyer Adrian Cieslewicz says he knows it’s time to grow up at his next club, having learnt his trade over five years in the Conference with and .

The 23-year-old was released by Harriers boss Gary Whild at the end of the season, having switched to Aggborough from the Dragons in January.

He spent two days on trial at League One recently, and hopes something might develop from that. But the man known as ‘Ciss’ is ready to prove his doubters wrong.

“I’ve been unlucky at Kiddy because I’d agreed an option with the manager and chairman I signed for, but then Andy Thorn and Mark Serrell both left and I got injured not long after Gary took over,” says Cieslewicz.

“The team were doing well so when I was fit again, I didn’t get a chance to prove to him I was worth keeping. That’s fair enough, but I feel that over the time I’ve spent in the Conference, I have taken big steps forward. This league teaches you so much.

“It’s difficult waiting for the phone to ring, and hopefully something might come with Oldham. That would be perfect.

“But I feel I’m old enough and mature enough now that wherever I end up, I can find the consistency to push my career on again. I should be in my prime and I want to prove it.”
