NORTH FERRIBY UNITED have been put up for sale just weeks after their FA Trophy final victory over Wrexham at Wembley.
The Villagers enjoyed their finest hour last month under the famous arch but owners Steve and Eman Forster have now put the club up for sale.
The son-in-law and daughter of controversial Hull City owner Assem Allam have been in charge of the Vanarama Conference North club since November 2013.
The Villagers have thrived since then but fans will now be wondering what the future holds for their club.
A statement from Steve and Eman Forster read: “After two very exciting years as owners of North Ferriby United we have decided that the time is now right for us to sell the club.
“From the start of our tenure our intention was to relieve the immediate financial burden on North Ferriby United and bring to it a financial stability that meant all efforts could be concentrated on the pitch.
“We feel the results of our investment speak for themselves, in particular the club’s recent success at Wembley.
“However, we also feel that we have achieved all we can at North Ferriby United and this, along with a desire to pursue our other interests, means the time is now right for us to step aside.
“We hope everyone associated with the club has enjoyed the last two years as much as we have. We would like to take this opportunity to wish North Ferriby United all the very best for the future.”
