GAVIN ROSE has committed his future to Dulwich Hamlet, signing a new two-year deal with the Ryman Premier side.
A former Hamlet player, Rose returned to the club in 2009 as manager and led them to the Ryman South title in 2012-13.
They finished sixth in their first season at Step 3 before making the play-offs last term. They were beaten in the semi-finals by Margate.
Rose has also gained a reputation for bringing through younger players, with a number of them progressing into the Football League,
Erhun Oztumer, who joined Peterborough, and Huddersfield’s Daniel Carr are two of the more recent names off the Hamlet conveyor belt.
“I am really pleased to sign this extension with Dulwich,” said Rose. “I have a great affinity with the club, the players, the fans, the board and the community in and around Champion Hill.”
Matt Rimmer, head of communications for Hadley Property Group which owns the club, added: “We are delighted that Gavin has committed to Dulwich Hamlet FC.
“That is a positive step and matches our own commitment to securing the future of the football club.”
