ALTRINCHAM have signed a second Tranmere Rovers player on loan, bringing in central defender Marcus Holness on a one-month deal.
The 27-year-old has only made four appearances for Gary Brabin’s Rovers this term and hasn’t featured since September 18.
Holness started his career with Oldham Athletic and went on to play for Rochdale, Barrow and Burton Albion before joining Tranmere.
He joins striker Jonny Margetts at Moss Lane after the 22-year-old joined the Robins last week, also on a one-month loan.
Lee Sinnott’s men host Woking tonight (Tuesday) in the National League, and will climb out of the bottom four with a victory.
