WHETHER it’s a 35-yard screamer, a brilliant passing team move or a jinking run and finish, we can all appreciate a wonder goal.
And now it’s your turn to tell us what the goal of the 2015-16 season has been across Non-League.
On May 19 at Stamford Bridge, we will hand out our Huck Nets Goal of the Season at the annual National Game Awards, this year in association with SCL and we need your help to decide the winner.
We are sure to have missed some, so get in touch, but who can forget Sam Corne’s stunning strike live on BT Sport as Welling earned a vital point at home to Tranmere?
Or even Dover’s Nicky Deverdics’ strike past Cheltenham’s Dillon Phillips from distance. Even further out, Oxford City’s Bradley Bubb scored from the halfway line on the opening day, as did Braintree’s Matt Paine against Kidderminster.
This season has also been one for acrobatics. Holbeach’s Ricky Drury went viral after his overhead kick found the net to earn the Step 5 side an FA Cup replay with Worcester City while Gosport’s Dan Wooden also showed his flexibility with a superb effort in a Boxing Day derby against Havant & Waterlooville.
Team goals have also wowed fans with Aldershot channelling their inner Barcelona against Gateshead, working from back to front before Rhys Browne’s dinked finish topped the move off.
Altrincham’s Josh Ginnelly should also take some plaudits for his jinking run and finish while thoughts of Ricky Villa came to mind when Wrexham‘s Dominic Vose dribbled round the Gateshead team before slotting home.
Remember, these are just suggestions though. Get in touch with your favourite goal, and send a video link too so we can judge for ourselves.
