SOLIHULL MOORS were confirmed as National League North champions on Tuesday night without kicking a ball.
Their nearest challengers North Ferriby United lost 2-0 at Stalybridge Celtic meaning the Moors could no longer be caught at the summit.
They’ve lost just five league games all season and Saturday’s 3-0 victory at resurgent AFC Telford United put them on the verge.
Their promotion to the top tier of Non-League football has now been finalised and Marcus Bignot’s side will be playing outside Step 2 for the first time since the club was formed in 2007 following the merger of Moor Green and Solihull Borough.
The National League have confirmed that the trophy and medals presentation will take place on the Damson Park pitch after the final whistle of Moors’ game against Chorley on Saturday, April 23rd.
