RICHARD ORLU has become the latest player to commit himself to National League high-flyers Dover Athletic for next season.
The 27-year-old defender signed for the Whites in August 2013 and was a key part of Chris Kinnear’s squad that won promotion from the Conference South in 2013-14.
Although currently serving a three-match suspension following his red card during the recent draw at Macclesfield, the big centre-half has made 48 appearances this season, scoring once.
Previously of Staines Town, Farnborough and Canvey Island, Orlu has gone from strength to strength with the Whites as they eye promotion to the Football League.
Dover are all but guaranteed a play-off spot and sit in fourth ahead of Saturday’s trip to already relegated Kidderminster Harriers.
Orlu joins goalkeeper Mitch Walker, defenders Aswad Thomas, Tyrone Sterling, Jack Parkinson and Sam Magri, midfielder Ricky Modeste and strikers Tyrone Marsh and Ricky Miller in being signed up for next season.
