Vice-Chairman Leaves Havant & Waterlooville

JIM FALLON has quit as vice-chairman of Blue Square Bet South club .

Fallon, who held the same role at before joining the Hawks in March, had told the club he would help bring funds in to Westleigh Park.

However, his company has recently gone into liquidation and the club has been left in the lurch by his departure.

In a statement posted on their official website, secretary Trevor Brock said: “It is with great regret that the board of Havant & Waterlooville Club has to announce that, following on from Beaumont Water Heaters Limited entering into liquidation, the owner of the company, Jim Fallon, has subsequently decided to resign and has left the club

“As his agreed sponsorship deal remains unpaid, together with his failing to meet agreed commitments to the club, advertising logos and boards appertaining to the company will be removed from the ground and the playing kit.

“The board is shocked, disappointed and feels very let down by this situation.”
