HEREFORD FC boss Peter Beadle has signed his first deal with the club, putting pen to paper on a 12-month rolling contract at Edgar Street.
Beadle became the Phoenix club’s first ever manager and led them to a debut season treble, including the Midland League title, the Midland League Cup and the Herefordshire County Cup.
The Bulls also enjoyed a trip to Wembley in the FA Vase but ended up losing to Northern League outfit Morpeth Town in the final.
Hereford have carried their fantastic first campaign into this season and Beadle’s side are currently top of the Evo-Stik League Southern South & West having won nine of their ten matches.
And the boss has been rewarded for the club’s fantastic start to life at Step 4, signing a 12-month rolling deal after the Bulls’ 2-1 win over Paulton Rovers at Edgar Street.
Beadle said: “I’m delighted to confirm my commitment to the club. I firmly believe that the journey has still only just begun and that we have a lengthy story still to tell.
“The board have been incredibly supportive of my efforts and we are all keen to push on again this season.”
Chairman Jon Hale added: “Peter has, from day one, demonstrated his abilities, experience and man management to bring about the very best for Hereford FC and we have been very keen to reward that with the security of a contract.
“His ability to bring the best out of players, identify and recruit players to improve the squad and to make hard decisions when needed have been instrumental in our success to date, and we are pleased to make formal his employment with the club.”
