HAYES & YEADING UNITED have turned to Kings Langley managerial duo Paul Hughes and Ritchie Hanlon as their new joint-bosses.
The duo have decided to leave Langley, who they enjoyed great success with, to take over at league rivals Hayes where they will replace Mickey Lewis.
Hughes and Hanlon oversaw three straight promotions including back-to-back titles in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier and Southern League Central.
Despite the Kings currently sitting four places above Hayes in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier table, Hughes and Hanlon have made the switch.
Caretaker boss Tristan Lewis, who will take charge for the last time against Chippenham on Saturday, will remain at the club and return to his role as director of football.
Hayes have struggled so far this season after relegation from the National League South last term. They’ve won just one of their last six league games and are only out of the bottom four on goal difference.
Hayes chairman Tony O’Driscoll said: We are delighted to have been able to secure the services of Paul and Ritchie, and look forward to them taking the club forwards as we prepare to return again to our home ground at Beaconsfield Road in the very near future.
“They have an excellent record whilst at Kings Langley, and we hope that they can continue this at Hayes & Yeading United.”
