National League:

It was business as usual for promotion chasing sides in the National League, with the top eight teams going unbeaten last weekend. Table topping Lincoln City, along with closest challengers and all picked up three points, with Danny Cowley’s team still three points clear at the top with a game in hand.

With Lincoln not in action until Tuesday due to their heroics, both Dagenham & Redbridge and early season pace setters Forest Green have the chance to apply pressure on the league leaders, with the Daggers taking on relegation threatened Guiseley and Mark Cooper and his team travelling to play-off hopefuls . However, should either slip up, Tranmere Rovers could well capitalise, with Andy Cook looking to add to his goal tally against an Eastleigh side who have lost two of their last three.

Meanwhile, having surrendered their play-off position to after a draw against , Dover Athletic will be looking to bounce back in style at North Ferriby, with striker Ricky Miller hoping to add to his 27 league goals to date.

National League North:

Despite another predictably disappointing weekend of action for the teams in the bottom half of the table, with only Bradford Park Avenue collecting three points from the bottom 13 placed teams, there were certainly some shocks in the promotion battle. Both Salford City and Chorley came unstuck away from home, allowing Kidderminster to move into second place after a third successive win for John Eustace’s men, as they look to bounce back to the National League at the first time of asking.

There is another jam-packed schedule on Saturday, with all 22 teams taking to the field. Having stumbled against lowly AFC Telford last time around, league leaders Flyde travel to a Brackley Town side who are without a win in six matches. Meanwhile, despite not being on the best of runs themselves, former Blackburn Rovers striker Matt Jansen will be looking to inspire his Chorley side to a vital win over Kidderminster, with just four points separating the duo in the table. Elsewhere in the promotion hunt, FC are the in-form team in the division thanks to five wins from their last six, as Billy Heath’s men travel to struggling Worcester City.

With time running out for Stalybridge Celtic at the bottom of the table, a trip to Moor Lane to take on Salford is far from ideal, with the Ammies looking to recover from a surprise defeat last weekend. A whole host of clubs are still in a relegation dog-fight, with just four points separating 15th placed Nuneaton and Bradford Park Avenue in 20th.

Worcester City v’s Halifax Town

National League South:

A sixth consecutive league win saw Ebbsfleet United leapfrog Maidenhead United at the top of the table, with fellow high-flyers Dartford, and Poole Town also picking up three points last weekend. In fact, Maidenhead were the only team within the top ten to lose, as mid-table Hemel Hempstead claimed a surprise win over Alan Devonshire’s men.

However, there was more despair for those teams at the bottom of the standings, as only  from the bottom seven managed to claim any points. Margate have now lost their last 14 league encounters, making Saturday’s home game with Wealdstone simply a must win. However, having scored just 17 goals all season, some have already written off Nikki Bull’s chances of keeping the Kent coasters up.

With Ebbsfleet taking on promotion rivals Hungerford, as well as Dartford facing a tough home game against Chelmsford City, there are certainly no easy games in the National League South this weekend.

Bishop’s Stortford v’s Poole Town

Ebbsfleet United v’s Hungerford Town

East Thurrock v’s
