MACCLESFIELD TOWN boss Steve King has appointed Eric Nixon as the club’s new goalkeeping coach.
The 49-year-old made over 550 appearances over the course of his playing career, representing the likes of Manchester City, Tranmere, Stockport and Wigan.
He retired in 2004 following a spell with Sheffield Wednesday and has since coached keepers at Tranmere Rovers and Fleetwood Town.
