Moore wants the job and the decision to allow him to appoint 43-year-old Bignot, sacked as Grimsby Town manager on April 10, hints that the stand in manager is in poll position to take the position on a full-time basis.
Moore takes charge of his third match today – the club losing 1-0 to on Monday after claiming a home draw with on Saturday.
Owner Paul Casson is keen to make a decision sooner rather than later and the fact he has given the nod to the addition of Bignot could suggest that the tycoon is leaning towards keeping things are they are.
Moore worked under Bignot at both and Grimsby and the pair are keen to link up full time again at Holker .
