The draw for the FA Cup third qualifying round has been made at Wembley with a number of ties to look forward to when they are played out on the weekend of the 30 September.
Edgeley Park is sure to see one of the highest attendances for the round should Karl Marginson’s FC United of Manchester side be able to overcome the challenge of Northern Counties East League Premier Division Handsworth Parramore in their replay.
The Hatters made it through to the first round proper last season but were undone by a Gozie Ugwu double to be knocked out by Woking 4-2.
Reigning FA Vase holders South Shields enjoyed one of the standout results from the second qualifying round when they knocked out Darlington on Saturday, managing to keep a clean sheet against a free-scoring team to win 3-0 away from home.
The Mariners will face York City in the next round, who were celebrating an away win themselves by beating Salford City 2-1 at Moor Lane.
Team victorious in the third qualifying round will receive £7,000 making the replays all the more important.
High-flying Essex Senior League FC Romania have been defeated only once in competitions so far this season and will have to get a result in the return replay at Hayes & Yeading in order to face Havant & Waterlooville in the next round.
The postponed Cornwall derby between Bodmin Town and Bideford due to a waterlogged pitch will be played on Wednesday, with the victor handed an away trip to play Haringey Borough.

Great story, lots too look forward to. The Cornwall derby however – Bodmin is indeed in Cornwall but Bideford is in Devon, so i suppose a west-country derby…but certainly not a Cornish one!
