SHAUN HARRAD says the good vibe is at Matlock Town this season.
The former Burton Albion striker is testament to that having plundered ten goals in his first 12 games since joining in the summer.
Tonight the mid-table Gladiators take on EVO-STIK Premier leaders Shaw Lane, but the experienced goal getter says the atmosphere around the club can only help their quest for results.
“We had been on a bad run but we rectified that with a 1-0 win against Workington at the weekend,” Harrad, who scored the winning penalty, said. “We go into the game tonight with top of the league and we’re full of confidence again.
“We’re actually only six points off the top five which shows how tight this league is. And with the games coming thick and fast, it soon changes.”
