Welcome to the latest update of Fantasy Non-League. Today’s update covers the period Sunday 17th September 2017 through to Saturday 23rd September 2017.
Last Saturday was of course the final day of September 2017 and that means we will be announcing our first winners of this season with the August/September 2017 Manager of the Month. So, with just seven days to go who is the running for the first prizes of the FNL 2017/18 Season. This first Manager of the Month does of course follow the main table quite closely.
Leading the way at the moment is AFC Jagman, he has 5,041pts he is 25pts ahead of seconded placed Rothwell Royals and 31pts ahead of third placed Rothwell MOT. The top ten is covered by only 86pts.
Of course, there are some bonuses to be added to the Manager of the Month scores after midnight on Saturday 30th September 2017. These bonuses are for the top and bottom clubs during the period August/September 2017 based on results only.
Unlike last season this time round both months will count as one and these bonuses are only added to the monthly scores not the main season scores.
So, who will win the August/September 2017 Manager of the Month? Find out in next week’s update.
When people contact me via the FNL Helpdesk it is quite surprising to hear the disappointment in their voices when I tell them that their team is in 1,378th place. I then tell them not to panic because last season we had a Manager of the Month winner who was way down the main table in 1,000 and something place. So not all is lost!! I have also been ask already this season, when can we make subs?
