Relegation battling Guiseley have swooped for Nottingham Forest midfielder Adam Crookes and Oxford United striker James Roberts on a month’s loan.
The Lions are seven points adrift of safety in the National League and have bolstered their injury-hit squad ahead of a busy Christmas period.
Crookes, 20, has been with Forest since joining as a schoolboy, making his way through their academy system.
He captained Forest’s U18 side that finished top of their division in 2015-2016 and reached the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup.
Last season, he stepped up to the U23s and has been a regular ever since.
Roberts has played 29 times for Oxford United, scoring three goals, since making his debut in 2014.
The following year he had loan spells with Non-League sides Chester and Oxford City before having a short spell at Barnet.
He headed back to Oxford City last season and then signed on loan for Stalybridge Celtic earlier this year.
Both players will be available for Guiseley’s FA Trophy first round tie at Gateshead tomorrow.
