The Non-League Paper’s National League Team of the Day

Macclesfield Town sit top of the National League tree this Christmas after drawing at , on a day in which none of the top eight claimed three points.
Second-placed Wrexham were held at home by  while Aldershot Town rescued a point at Guiseley with a 94th minute equaliser.
Tranmere Rovers continued their climb up the table with an impressive 3-1 win at Sutton United. Andy Hessenthaler made an instant impact as manager of Eastleigh they won at high-flying .
After being put up for sale in mid-week, Hartlepool United‘s woes continued with a home defeat by Maidenhead United.
Ady Pennock’s Barrow are now seven points clear of the drop following a win over Woking and there was good news for another one of their relegation rivals, , who won at .
The same couldn’t be said for struggling , though, they trailed FC Halifax Town 4-0 at half-time. Fortunately for the Blues, the scoreline didn’t get any worse.
Solihull Moors held   to a stalemate while AFC scored late on to take a point at home to Ebbsfleet United.
