Hinckley AFC secure new ground for next season

Total Motion Division One club AFC have successfully secured a new ground for next season.
The club, who have been playing their home fixtures at Heather St John’s ground since they were founded four years ago, have signed a an agreement to play at Ibstock Miners Welfare Sports and Social Club.
Their new home is owned by Ibstock Parish Council and has met all Step 6 ground grading requirements.
The move will bring Hinckley’s first team and under 18s side together for the first time.
Parish council chairman Stuart Farmer said: “We’re delighted to welcome Hinckley AFC to Ibstock. Their tenancy will breathe new life into the ground.”
Hinckley director Gerry Abbott said: “We’re excited about this new chapter for the club. Whilst our aim of returning to Hinckley is still a priority for us, the move to Ibstock will allow the club to attain a more stable financial footing.”
