Port Vale manager Neil Aspin has signed former Aldershot Town midfielder Manny Oyeleke.
The 25-year-old won the Shots Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters Player of the Season and joins the Valiants on a one-year deal.
Oyeleke started his career at Brentford before having spells at Northampton Town and Exeter City.
The midfielder made 40 appearances and scored three times for Aldershot as they reached the play-offs.
Aspin said: “I’m very happy Emmanuel has signed after he had a good season with Aldershot Town.
“We’ve had very good reports on him and we’ve watched him a number of times. I’m glad we’ve managed to sign him after there was other interest from different clubs, so I’m pleased to bring him here.
“He’s the right age to do well and he’s keen to get a chance back in league football.”
