Newly promoted National League side Harrogate Town have brought in striker Aaron Williams from FA Trophy Champions Brackley Town.
Williams enjoyed a prolific season for The Saints in the National League North, finding the net 20 times as Brackley finished up in the play-off positions.
The striker, who has been capped at England C level, has already scored over 100 career goals and had spells with a number of Football League clubs including Walsall, Peterborough and Newport County.
Williams joins a Harrogate side who raced to promotion from the National League North last season after defeating Williams’ Brackley in an emphatic 3-0 play-off final victory.
Speaking to Harroagte’s official club website, Williams told fans, “It’s a club on the up so it was an easy decision for me to make and after speaking to the Gaffer I couldn’t wait to get my signature on the dotted line
