New King’s Lynn manager Simon Clark has made his first signing by bringing in defender Kalern Thomas from Southern Central League rivals Kettering Town.
Thomas, who came through the youth ranks at Walsall, was a key feature in the Kettering defence after joining the club from Solihull Moors midway through last season.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Clark expressed his delight at signing the defender who can play on either the right or left hand side.
“He has tremendous foot speed, which is always good for a defender, and he is very comfortable on the ball,” he said.
“His fitness levels are incredible. He makes great distance up the pitch, but is also a very good defender.
“He loves to be coached and is another lad who is at the right age to improve further.
“Another big plus is that he is experienced at this level and the one above. Kalern has an intrinsic motivation that all managers want their players to have.”
