Salford City have completed the signing of striker Devante Rodney from National Lague rivals Hartlepool for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old front man joined Hartelpool in January 2017 and made 46 appearances during his 18-month spell at the County Durham club.
It has been reported the Rodney was offered a new contract to stay at Victoria Park by manager Matthew Bates but the young striker has elected to play for big spending Salford next season.
Rodney came through the youth ranks at Manchester City before making the move to Sheffield Wednesday in 2013 after spending six years with City.
After failing to break into the Owls’ first team picture, the Manchester born forward left to join Hartlepool, where he found the net five times.
