Salford City have made their second signing of the day by bringing in striker Rory Gaffney from League One club Bristol Rovers.
The 28-year-old, who found the net five times for Rovers during the last campaign, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Moor Lane.
Gaffney spent seven years plying his trade in the League of Ireland before making a move to League Two side Cambridge United in 2014.
However, the striker struggled with injuries during his time with the U’s and joined Bristol Rovers in 2016.
Gaffney was a regular starter for Rovers during the 2016/17 season, where he made 38 appearances.
The target man becomes the second striker to come through the door at Moor Lane today following the arrival of Devante Rodney.
