Tamworth bring in Ryan Beswick

Tamworth have strengthened their chances of bouncing back to Step Two at the first time of asking with the signing of former captain Ryan Beswick.
The 29-year-old arrives at The Lamb with an impressive amount of footballing experience having been part of the side that won promotion from the in 2016.
The midfielder further endeared himself to fans at Damsen Park when he netted Solihull’s first even goal on the opening day of the 206/17 season.
After joining Nuneaton last summer, Beswick made 34 appearances to help Nuneaton to a mid table finish in the National League North table.
Speaking to the Herald, Tamowrth boss Mike Fowler said, “This is an unbelievable signing for us.
“It’s a real coup. A midfield of Ryan, Aman Verma and Paul Green is fantastic for this club. Ryan is someone with unbelievable vision and quality on the ball. He has a fantastic left foot and his set-piece delivery is terrific.”
“He can dictate a game. He likes to get on the ball and orchestrate from deep. The other good thing is that he still has the desire and the will to do well. He wants to win the league with us. That is what he is here to do. There were other clubs interested but he has come here because he wants to achieve things with us.”
