National League side Sutton United complete their final signing of the summer with Jonah Ayunga signing a two-year deal with the South London club.
Ayunga started his career at Bridport Youth before venturing to Dorchester Town. In 2016, the striker signed for Brighton and Hove Albion but had loan spells at Burgess Hill Town and the Irish Premier League during the 2016/2017 season.
The 21 year-old has also represented the Kenyan national team, his first call up received in August 2016.
Boss Paul Doswell told the club’s website: “We are really pleased with Jonah signing, as we were really looking for another young forward who we could develop and improve and Jonah certainly fits the bill.
“By signing a two-year deal it gives Jonah the chance to really develop and we think with Bairdy’s influence he can be a great addition to our squad.”
The new signing also told the clubs official website: “I got a phone call from the gaffer on Monday afternoon after training and was buzzing to know he wanted me, and what he feels I can achieve here. I’ve really enjoyed my two weeks here and can’t wait to help the team this season”.
