National League club Bromley have added firepower to their attacking options with the signing of John Goddard on a loan deal from Stevenage.
The 25-year-old winger finished last season with Stevenage after joining from Swindon Town midway through the campaign.
Goddard came through the youth ranks at Reading before signing for National League South club Hayes & Yeading in the summer of 2012.
The winger went on the represent Woking before joining Swindon in 2016,
Speaking to the club’s official website, Bromley boss Neil Smith said, ” “He’s a very, very good player. He’s just had his first training session and it’s clear to see he’s a very talented lad.
He’s comfortable in possession, capable of scoring goals, and can hopefully link up the midfield and forward line. It’s a great acquisition for the Club and he’s coming in as a hungry player, who’s keen to show everyone what he can do.”
