National League high flyers Chesterfield have agreed a deal to sign Haydn Hollis on loan from Forest Green Rovers.
Hollis joined Forest Green in January after struggling to break into the first team picture at Notts County.
The 25-year-old defender was a well liked figure at Meadow Lane, making over 100 appearances for the club over the course of a seven year spell.
During his time with Notts County, Hollis enjoyed loan spells with the likes of Barrow, Hinckley United and Darlington.
Since joining Forest Green at the turn of the year, the defender has featured 19 times for The Green.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Chesterfield boss Martin Allen said Hollis is as “a model professional who I’ve worked with at a club just down the motorway and I’ve followed his career closely.
“He is a strong header of the ball, good at defending set-plays and is a good addition to our squad.”
