Stratford Town have confirmed that manager Darren Byfield has left the club.
The former Rotherham and Millwall striker took the managerial post at Stratford over the summer but has chosen to seek pastures new after his side recorded five points from their opening six games in the Southern League Central Division.
Byfield enjoyed a distinguished playing career, where he went on to represent a range of Football League clubs as well as turning out a number of times of the Jamacian National side.
After hanging up his boots in 2017, the 42-year-old took the managerial job at Southern Premier Division side Redditch United
