Southern League Premier Division South side Poole Town have pulled off a coup by bringing in veteran striker James Constable on loan from Eastleigh.
The 34-year-old, who also enjoyed a brief spell at the Tatnam Ground last season, has initially joined on a one-month loan deal which could be extended until the end of the campaign.
Constable has enjoyed an illustrious playing career, much of which has been spent in the Football League, with the likes of Walsall and Oxford United.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Poole Town Chairman Chris Reeves siad: “I am delighted to have secured James’s signing.
“He made a big impression during his short stay with us last season, both on and off the field.
“His return will give the squad a massive boost and underpins our determination to do all we can to win back our place in National South.”
After suffering relegation from the National League South last season, Poole Town are still adapting to life in Step Three and are currently sitting in mid table in the Southern League Premier Division South.
