Rian McLean has become the latest Non-League star to land a dream move into the Football League.
The 20-year-old defender has been impressing for Enfield Town in the Bostik League since joining at the start of the season following a spell at Leyton Orient, and has signed for Doncaster Rovers on an 18-month contract.
McLean caught the eye of Rovers boss Grant McCann during an extended trial period with the club and will go straight into John Schofield’s Development squad.
He said: “I’m very happy to be given an opportunity to play for a club like Doncaster, it’s a great chance for me to prove myself.
“It was nice to play a few games for the Development side and be back in a professional environment after spending some time in non-league.
“I’ve had a few chats with the manager and he’s explained how he wants me to develop and push towards the first-team.”
