Matt Paterson says he has missed not being at Havant and Waterlooville after re-signing for the National League new boys.
The striker returns to Westleigh Park for his second spell having left the Hawks in 2017 following the club’s promotion to Step 2.
The Scotsman has impressed at Oxford City and Welling United recently and now aims to lead the Hawks’ survival big in Non-League‘s top-flight.
He said: “It’s brilliant to be back, I’ve missed my time not being here over the past couple of seasons; the lads have done well over the past couple of seasons and when the opportunity arose I was more than happy to be back here and be back at the club again.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the boys again and getting going.
“It’s a new challenge and I’m looking forward to it and I’m going to give everything I can for the team.
“There’s a little bit of nervous excitement seeing the gaffer and everyone again, I’m really looking forward to it and buzzing to be back here.”
