Solihull Moors announce plans for ground improvements

have announced plans to upgrade their ground to meet League requirements. 
Tim Flowers’ side are currently the surprise leaders in the , but will need to make a number of upgrades to their ground should they win promotion in order to be eligible for League Two.
Over the next 18 months the club will carry out a three-phased approach to meet Football League standards and improve Damson Park.
Moors announced: “Phase One
“Ahead of our Buildbase quarter-final tie against Telford United next Saturday, the Club will install a 1,131 all-seater stand on the Car Park Side Stand.
“As a result of this, this section of the ground will have not have standing capacity.
“Segregation barriers/gates will also need to be introduced on this side of the ground.
“The Wadsworths Stand will become an all-standing terrace with all seats currently in place to be removed.
“Improved crush barriers will also be fitted in the Wadsworth Stand.
“Phase one will be completed by March 1st 2019.
“Phase Two
“Phase two work will be completed between May and July 2019.
“In this phase, the focus will be on improvements to the Main Clubhouse Stand.
“By the start of next season, this side of the ground will become all-seater. A new control room will be installed, along with a media room and improvements/additions to corporate hospitality.
“In addition, toilets, refreshments and disabled facilities will all be improved.
“The seating capacity of this stand will then become 1,219.
“To complete phase two, the Club will be investing in an improved floodlighting system.
“Phase Three
“Phase three work will be completed between May and July 2020.
“This will primarily see the installation of a brand new, all-seater stand with a capacity of 2,000 on the Car Park Side Stand.
T”his will include; 18 wheelchair positions, new toilets, refreshment huts and an away bar.
“Final works will also be concluded on the Main Clubhouse Stand to include new changing rooms and a further extension to the stand.
