Dartford sign Louis Wells

play-off chasers have moved to re-sign goalkeeper Louis Wells from Jay Saunders’ in-form side on a deal until the end of the current season. 
The 37-year-old shot stopper has represented a range of clubs throughout the pyramid, including the likes of Billericay Town, with whom he won promotion to Step 2 with last season, , Basingstoke and Aldershot.
He also previously had a spell with the Darts back in 2017.
Dartford are currently sitting in 6th place in the South table, following Darren McQueen’s last minute equalizer at home to Borough.
Speaking to the club’s official website, joint Dartford managers Adam Flanagan and Jamie Coyle told the club’s official website, “We are happy to bring Wellsy back to Dartford and we now have two excellent keepers in our squad for what is a critical part of the season.”
Meanwhile, Margate have moved swiftly to replace Wells, by bringing in a new shot stopper in the form of Kleton Perntreou.
The 24-year-old, 6 foot 3′ goalkeeper arrived Hartsdown Park after leaving and has previous spells with , Hibernian and .
Margate have enjoyed a remarkable resurgence under the guidance of new manager Saunders over the last few weeks.
Since being handed the first team job at Hartsdown Park the former Maidstone boss has helped The Gate to six wins in his eight games in charge, a run, which has moved the Kent club well away from the Bostik Premier League drop zone.
