After their relegation back to the National League South was confirmed a the weekend, Havant & Waterloovile have wasted no time in preparing for a promotion assault next season by signing captain Rory Williams down to a new contract.
The 29-year-old skipper has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal at The Westleigh.
Williams joined the Hawks in July 2016 and has played an integral part in the club winning back-to-back promotions in 2017 and 2018, as well as being a standout performer in the club’s inaugural season in the National League.
The former Gosport winger has played 34 times for the Hawks this season, scoring on three occasions having taken over as captain in January after the retirement of legend Brian Stock
