Gloucestershire Live are reporting that Hemel Hempstead midfielder Rob Sinclair has turned down the opportunity to manage Weston-Super-Mare.
The 29-year-old has plenty of experience in Non-League football having previously represented the likes of Salisbury, Forest Green Rovers and Oxford City.
Weston-Super-Mare, who have been on the lookout for a new manager since the departure of Marc McGregor back in March, endured a difficult season in the National League South this year, eventually succumbing to relegation back to Step 3.
Mark McKeever took charge of first-team affairs during the season’s run in.
The Seagull’s campaign ended on Saturday with a 1-1 draw at home to Dulwich Hamlet, their 11th stalemate of the season, which left them at the foot of the table, two points behind East Thurrock United.
