Stevenage have bought talented Chesterfield midfielder Charlie Carter for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old signed for the Spireites from Woking last summer for a nominal sum and despite his season being blighted by injury, he still caught the eye of several Football League clubs.
Carter scored four goals in 20 appearances last season, having bagged 12 for the Cards in his second full season after coming up through the club’s academy.
Tipped by The Non-League Paper as one of the best young players in Non-League he’s now secured a move into League Two.
