FA Cup

Third qualifying round next up after FA Cup draw!

The third qualifying round draw is out after being made live on TalkSPORT2 at lunchtime on Monday.
Conducted at Wembley, the draw was made by AFC Bournemouth chairman and Emirates FA Cup committee member Jeff Mostyn and Non-League aficionado Tony Incenzo.
Clubs from the National League North and South, who joined the competition in the last round, remain the highest-ranked teams in the 40 ties drawn.
The ties are still organised regionally at this stage of the world’s oldest cup competition with 17 in the northern section and 23 in the southern section scheduled after the replays from the last round are completed.
After collecting £6,750 as second qualifying round victors, clubs will pick up another £11,250 in prize money for winning the ties which are due to be played over the weekend of Saturday 5 October. Losing clubs will collect £3,750 from the The FA Prize Fund.

Nantwich Town – the first Cheshire club to win The FA Vase, in 2006 – have been handed a home tie against fellow Northern Premier League side Morpeth Town.
Isthmian League Corinthian Casuals defeated Chelmsford City at the weekend to reach the third round qualifying for the first time since 1983 and they will face Southern  League Kings Langley.
Oxford City romped to a 7-0 victory over North Leigh and they were the first team out of the hat in the southern section as they were paired with National League South rivals Hampton & Richmond Borough.
