White called rewarding the Terras boss with a new deal before Saturday’s 2-1 win over Hungerford Town a “no-brainer” after his side blew away all pre-season predictions for the campaign to sit second in the table.
Molesley, pictured signing a new contract to remain at the Bob Lucas Stadium until the end of the 2020/2021 season, will continue to combine his Terras duties with his work as assistant to Bournemouth Under-21s boss Shaun Cooper.

White told the Dorset Echo: “It was a no-brainer, just a case of getting the Ts crossed and the Is dotted.
“It’s a huge bonus for the club and hopefully he can continue taking us much higher than we are at the moment. We’re over the moon, we couldn’t be more pleased.
“Really, it’s an 18-month contract and that’s what Mark wanted to commit to. The way things are going, who knows what we’ll be doing next year.
“We’re building something special here at the moment and we’re getting it right. Mark was signed before I was chairman. I’ve got to thank the guys back then who took the bold step.
“We know that Mark’s link to Bournemouth is one of the key reasons we’re doing so well.
“I’ve been at the club for 23 years, I’ve seen lots of things happen, but this without a shadow of a doubt is the best management team I’ve seen at this club, and that’s down to Mark.”
The Terras boss, whose side have lost just once at the Bob Lucas Stadium since February, is happy with the ‘great strides’ that have been made since he arrived in 2017.
“I’m obviously delighted,” he told Echo Sport. “I’ve been very happy here since day one.
“It’s been hard work but I’m so fortunate I’ve been supported by my wonderful staff. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
“I’m totally indebted to the people around me. This feels like our baby, our team. We want to continue to try and improve this football team and improve this club.
“I feel we’re making great strides in the community, people around the club are working hard and starting to believe in the football club.”
He added: “People are starting to come back and see the hard work and, most importantly, see the team. They can see that the players are working hard for that badge – they’re really rolling their sleeves up.”
