A GLANCING header from Todd Hathaway was all that separated the two sides as Wantage Town edged a slender victory over Bridgwater Town in the game of the basement sides.
In a match dominated by the defences, Hathaway’s 40th minute header was the product of one of few incisive attacks from either side.
Bridgwater improved in the second half, but never looked like posing any danger to the Wantage goal.
