CHIPSTEAD’S relegation fears are over following their first win since the start of the year, but Three Bridges remain firmly in trouble after what can only be described as an awful game.
A difficult wind and a terrible pitch helped neither side in an atrocious first half, but once Chipstead opened the scoring five minutes into the second half, the visitors never looked like going home with anything but three points.
Karl Parker;s hooked shot for the opener was followed by a nicely-drilled shot from the same player only five minutes later.
