A VITAL home win for Clitheroe lifts them to within two points of the play-off positions.
Mossley took the lead on ten minutes when former Clitheroe striker Mitch Bryant got the final touch, but the hosts bounced back to level the game on 12 minutes when Danny Brady rose unchallenged from a corner.
Shortly after, Aidan Kirby on his home debut thumped a powerful shot off the woodwork.
The second half produced few chances, but the game changed on 79 minutes when Clitheroe took the lead against the run of play through Kurt Willoughby.
