■BELPER pulled off a shock victory over South table-toppers Shaw Lane and were worth every penny of the admission fee.
An evenly-contested first half looked destined to be scoreless, but Belper’s Phil Watt broke the deadlock by nodding the ball in from close range on 43 minutes.
Shaw Lane were rattled after the break when the Nailers struck again with a precision finish from Alex Steadman.
Gavin Allott reduced the arrears on 61 minutes and the fightback looked well and truly on.
