TWOpenalties and a red card left Rushden’s fight for a play-off place under threat.
Drayton rose to the occasion superbly before their biggest home league crowd of the season.
The travelling fans had plenty to shout about early on as Diamonds made a determined start. But Drayton, with James O’Neill outstanding in their defence, fought through well.
