■WANTAGE and Totton served up little in the way of quality in a dull encounter on a bone hard pitch and a swirling wind at Alfredian Park.
Wantage went into the game knowing that defeat would see their relegation confirmed. The Alfredians battled well but chances were few and far between.
Sean McKeon did bring a straight forward save out of the Stags keeper Pat O’Flaherty in the first half and he almost got in on goal when he beat Totton’s offside trap, only for O’Flaherty to clear the danger.
