BRIGHOUSE boosted their play-off hopes with this single-goal victory.
They opened the scoring after five minutes when a cross from the right by Adam Baker was headed home by Ben Wharton.
Brighouse created further opportunities through James Pollard, while Sam Bailey and Charlie Bowman had chances to respond for Kendal.
However, Brighouse made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time through a Pollard header.
