GOALS either side of the break by Scott Ruthven and Brodie Litchfield, plus some splendid goalkeeping by David Reay, made Stocksbridge worthy winners over Spalding United.
Spalding had Kern Miller sent off ten minutes from time for an off-the-ball offence.
Steels weathered early Spalding pressure and several good chances. The game changed dramatically when Ruthven headed Steels in front.
