■OSSETT Albion conceded two sloppy goals in the first ten minutes of the half which put them on the back foot for the rest of the match.
The first came after four minutes when a speculative Jack Rudge shot bounced awkwardly in front of Albion ‘keeper and ended up nestling in the corner of the Albion net while Ciaran Kilheeney then made it two on ten minutes.
Ossett had to wait until 35 minutes for their first worthwhile attack when a swift counter led to Jimmy Eyles shooting narrowly wide of the goal.
