NORTHWICH Victoria did their survival hopes a world of good, running out winners over a disappointing Sheffield FC.
After a dull goalless first half, with very little in the way of chances, Northwich brightened up the game with some gutsy football.
Vics took the lead on 60 minutes, after good interplay between Lingouba Cesaire and Favour Imande teed up Adam Lawrence, who side footed beyond Chris Butt.
They doubled their advantage on 79 minutes, after Niall Sultan’s cross was diverted over the line by Jack Kelleher.
